TOME

As a co-founder, I created the brand at the forefront of the diversity and inclusion in fashion conversation globally, promoting race, age, and size parity from its inception. Each season was inspired by a feminist female artist. Sustainability and ethical manufacturing were at the core of the offering.  I worked with female artisans in the USA, India, Peru, Mexico and Turkey, creating full-circle operations that also provided training and education for disenfranchised women and their children.

The brand won many notable accolades, including inclusion in:

The US Vogue Fashion Fund in 2013
The CFDA Sustainability Initiative in 2015-2017
The Copenhagen Fashion Summit Design Challenge in 2017
The ‘White Shirt Project’ - a philanthropic project in conjunction with Freedom for All, a foundation that fights human trafficking and modern-day slavery.

TOME received generous support from industry leaders like:

Anna Wintour, Franca Sozzani, and Laura Brown and endorsed by fashion favorites Caroline Issa, Naomi Campbell, Jenna Lyons and Solange Knowles.
The ‘White Shirt Project’ attracted celebrity support from humanitarians Uma Thurman, Emma Watson, Iman, and Lauren Hutton.
Across various projects, I also had the opportunity to creatively collaborate with Isabella Rossellini, Tessa Thompson, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

TOME was carried by many of the world’s leading retailers including:
Net-a-Porter
Selfridges
Harvey Nichols
Lane Crawford
Moda Operandi
Shopbop
Goop
Saks Fifth Avenue
